Why have a Church?

2Corinthians 5:17

(17) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

At some point in everyone's life we realize that we have done bad things! The great news is that Jesus Christ came to take away the penalty for our wrong doing or another word for it is SIN. All we have to do to be relieved of the penalty for those sins is believe that Jesus came and died to pay the price for our wrong doing and ask Him to forgive us. That's it - it really is that simple! At that point we are saved from the penalty of wrong doing - an eternity in HELL. Now we can look forward to an eternity spent with Jesus in Heaven enjoying His love! But, before that time while we are still alive God makes us into a new creature bound for a new adventure in this life!

To succeed in this adventure God has prepared a place where Believers can be trained by skilled teachers in the Word of God. In addition we will receive the encouragement needed to embrace this wonderful adventure called the Christian life.

Ephesians 3:21

"Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."

NEW BEGINNINGS MISSIONARY BAPTIST MISSION had the first service on September 4, 2005. The purpose for starting New Beginnings is to do just that - give people an opportunity to have a New Beginning! We believe that the Lord would have us help people get a fresh start in their spiritual lives. With the help of our sponsoring Church and sister Churches we look to accomplish this goal by planting a thriving Church which will point others to Jesus Christ as their savior. From that point we want to see them baptized and fellowshipping with us. All of these goals work together to accomplish our main goal which is to bring glory to God in the Church.
