Welcome! The North East Citizens Action Association (NECAA) is a volunteer-driven neighborhood association dedicated to supporting and strengthening the northeast Grand Rapids community. Whether you've lived here for decades, or just moved in, you're invited to be a part of a connected, thriving, and forward-thinking neighborhood association.
Protecting and enhancing our green spaces
Improving walkability, traffic flow, and safety
Supporting thoughtful development in our business districts
Connecting neighbors to each other, connecting and bringing forth the conversations that matter, and helping all neighbors thrive in the northeast Grand Rapids.
If you care about the future of our neighborhood, you're in the right place. Join the conversation, share your ideas, meet your neighbors, and help shape what comes next.
NECAA board meetings are typically held on the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Yankee Clipper Library or the Life EMS Innovation and Education Center on Fuller (just south of Leonard). Schedules may shift - we're all volunteers - check our Facebook page for updates. All meetings are open to the public, and we'd love to see you there.
