Leadership Opportunities with the Golden Sower Committee

• The Golden Sower Committee is always looking for people to serve in a leadership capacity. For more information on each position, click here. There are lots of positions to choose from:

  • Chair

  • Vice-Chair

  • List Chairs

    • • Little Bluestem - aimed at grades K-2

      • Honeybee - aimed at grades 3-5

      • Meadowlark - aimed at grades 6-8

      • YA - aimed at grades 9-12 (To be implemented in 2025-2026)

    • Social Media Manager 

    •  Award Ceremony Chair 

    • Publisher Liaison

    • Treasurer 

    • Manual Director 

    • Store Manager

    • Webmaster 

    • Secretary & Historian - 

    • Member(s) At Large

Selection Group Members

• Selection Group members read newly published titles for consideration to be book list nominees. 

• Selection Group members can read for more than one list.

• Selection Group members will access a Goodreads group for current consideration list and information regarding possible titles. 

• Voting for the upcoming list takes place in August over Zoom.

• Members must attend at least one meeting over a two year period.
