Game Day Schedule

Eager to see your favorite band on Game Day?  This schedule details events that you can (and should) attend on Friday and Saturday of home football weekends!  The official Game Day homepage can be found at gameday.nd.edu.

Band Schedule, 3:30 p.m. Kickoff

• Friday Afternoon:

• 4:23 p.m. - Warmup at the Golden Dome

• 4:30 p.m. - Marchout from Main Building to Ricci Family Fields

• 4:45 p.m. - Open rehearsal, Ricci Family Practice Field

• 12:00 a.m. (midnight Friday night) -- Drummer's Circle (in front of Main Building)

• Saturday:

• 9:30 a.m. - Marching band rehearsal, Loftus (not open to public)

• 11:30 a.m. - Brunch in South Dining Hall

  • 12:00 p.m. (time is variable) - Sax Parodies (singing at Brunch)

• 1:15 p.m. - Player Walk (Team walks from Basilica to Stadium, Band is between LaFortune and Hesburgh Library)

• 2:00 p.m. (90 minutes before kickoff) - Concert on the Steps, Bond Hall

• 2:25 p.m. (time is variable) - Saxes perform "Blood of Cu Chulainn" and the Victory March (in front of Main Building near Washington Hall)

• 2:40 p.m. (50 minutes before kickoff) - Marchout to the stadium

• 3:10 p.m. - Pregame performance

• 3:30 p.m. - Kickoff! GO IRISH!

• 7:30 p.m. (directly after game) - Post-game performance and marchout back to Ricci Band Rehearsal Hall

For night games, the schedule is altered accordingly.  Concert on the Steps is held 90 minutes before kickoff, and the marchout to the stadium is 50 minutes before kickoff.
