(A)    Teaching Experience: 

• 20 years 02 months teaching/research experience in the Department of Chemistry at Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT), Majitar, Rangpo-737132 (East-Sikkim) (Sikkim Manipal University, NAAC A+ accredited).   

(B) Research Experience: 

•  Fifteen days training on nanotechnology (during 15-31 March 2009) at TU Delft University, The Netherlands.

•  Five years research experience in the area of Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Natural Product Chemistry at North East Institute of Science and Technology (NEIST-CSIR), Jorhat, (former RRL, Jorhat - 785006, CSIR, Govt. of India) Assam, India.

(4) Associate Director (Student Affairs) (20 September 2023 to 22 November 2024): Appointed as Associate Director (Student Affairs), Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.

(5) Head of the Department, Department of Chemistry (20 May 2021 to 23 November 2024): Appointed as Head of the Department, Department of Chemistry, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology.

(6)  President, SMIT Alumni Association (15 February 2020 to 23 November 2024): Elected as President of Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology (SMIT) Alumni Association.

(7) Head Alumni Engagement Cell (May 2017 – 23 November 2024): Appointed as Head Alumni Engagement Cell on 18 May 2017. The objective of Alumni Engagement Cell is to facilitate the Alumni to take active part in the institutional affairs not only for the betterment of students’ community but also for the growth of the Institute as a whole.
