Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. This was a sub-key shot establishing the look of the entrance to Elsa's Ice palace. Using a rig created for the wide/front view shot of the castle as a starting point, I adjusted the lights for this angle. I used this rig to light all same as and similar shots from this angle. 

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. Propagated light rig for castle and dialed in lighting to include the snowman and Elsa.


Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. I had the opportunity to establish a unique look for Elsa's magic effect, Olaf's cloud, and the lighting effect on its surroundings. As a creative touch, I proposed making the burst of light on the ground shaped like Elsa's signature snowflake, and integrated the idea by animating a Nuke 3D projected texture.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing Merged my rig for the exterior of the palace with the propagated interior rig, and adjusted for Anna's closeup.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. This was the key shot for the others in this series, where Gogo escapes from a cage made of Microbots. It was a fun challenge to light the inside of the cage, where the only light sources were Gogo's helmet and wheels.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. Propagated from key and adjusted for one-off closeup. As a creative touch, I added the lens flare based on live-action reference videos.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. Combined my interior rig for the microbot cage with the exterior rig established by the supervisor. Dialed in for this angle, as the glass panels were not seen this close up in previous shots. As a creative touch, I added the "hot iron" glow along the path Gogo cuts through the cage, creating a Nuke 3D position matte for the edge.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. For this shot, I merged the rigs from two previously established shots (one for the car interior and one for the street exterior) and adjusted for this angle. Used this rig to light the same-as and similar shots in the sequence. 

Wreck-It Ralph

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. This was the first of a series of shots I worked on featuring Ralph and Gene arguing over a cake. I worked with Lookdev to dial in the look of the cake frosting, and created a comp setup for the burning sparklers that was used by several other shots.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. Integrated the exterior light established by the key lighter, and dialed in the look for Vanellope under the bleachers. Integrated the glitch effect.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. This was the first shot featuring the Diet Cola explosion effect. For the explosion effect, I created a lighting/comp setup which was used throughout the sequence. I helped other artists set up the necessary render and comp layers in their shots.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. This is from Tangled-themed Pantene Pro V commercial. I collaborated with a Hair TD to establish a unique look for the hair based on live-action refs, from discussing the shape and flowy movement, to dialing in a smoother, shinier hair shader than what appears in the movie. I also painted the sky bg.

Responsibilities: Compositing. Pi and his boat were shot over a blue screen, in an indoor pool. I removed the blue screens using a combination of keying and rotoing, integrated the BG plates, integrated the CG tiger and flying fish, and created smooth transitions between the real and CG water.

Responsibilities: Lighting & Compositing. This was a one-off shot. Integrated 8 different effects passes for the snowflake burst. Repositioned the castle and mountain to enhance composition. Creative touches: Glints, subtle color gradation on the snow FX, ramping up the sky satruation as it is cleared.
