Elementary Music

Elementary Music refers to the students in grades K-6 and their general music program.  All grades meet twice a week for a half hour.  Students are required to perform in a scheduled K-6 Christmas Concert (December) and a K-6 Spring Concert (April).

My expectations include that ALL students in ALL grades will not only sing, but they will also dance and play instruments.  

One of our favorite series used is The Freddie the Frog series.  This is a tool that teaches students the names of notes to a story.  A link to his games and other activities is posted below.  Please engage your child at home in these fun activities!
