I discovered that the intake manifold part number had iterated to an "A" as well as the attachment flanges. The rubber gasket seals had moved to a "B". I decided to order all these parts rather than try yet again to get my original parts with new gaskets to work. I did a side by side comparison of the parts and the biggest difference was in the intake manifold. MUCH better casting with an equal fit to the heads on both front and rear. My original intake was a little cock-eyed but I just figured that was "normal" and the seals would make up the difference. I snapped a few pictures I'll upload later. I installed the parts late last night but didn't have time to test run it. Crossing the fingers. Stay tuned for an updated post.
