Dawn E. Spakowski, DVM - Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Dawn grew up in suburban Chicago, Illinois and was a member of the local 4-H club in her hometown of Wood Dale, IL. Being a suburban "farm girl" at heart, she was given her first pony at the age of 9 and went on to train him into a repeating champion in trial class. From that point on, she always wanted to work with animals. Dawn did her premed at the College of Dupage and was admitted to the University of Illinois. After graduating in 1989 with honors, she then moved to Florida and began her professional career in Sarasota. Soon afterwards, Dr. Dawn opened her very own practice here in Venice in 1991. Dr. Dawn's approach to Veterinary Medicine is traditional, yet she continues to learn the most advanced procedures and technology. Her style is straight forward and factual. You, the Client, will be given the necessary information in order to help you make your decisions about treatments weighing best outcomes with reasonable costs.
