A Brief Biography


Dr. Mustafa Namdar received the B.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees all in Electronics and Communications Engineering Department from Yildiz Technical University (YTU), Istanbul, Turkey. From 2000 to 2011, he was with Turkcell, Istanbul, Turkey, and worked for the Network Operations Department as a Core Network Planning Engineer, for the Service Network Department as an Expert Engineer, and for the Research and Development Department as a Senior Expert Engineer, respectively, where he participated in several wireless communications projects.


He joined the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Dumlupinar University (DPU), Kutahya, Turkey, in Fall 2015. Dr. Namdar has served as a reviewer for several journals, including IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, IEEE Transactions on Cognitive Communications and Networking, IEEE Wireless Communications Letters, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Access, IET, Springer, Elsevier, TR index journals, and several international conferences. He has also served as a TPC member of the IEEE WCSP'18, IEEE RTUWO'18, IEEE MTTW'19, IEEE MTTW'20, and IEEE MTTW'21 international conferences. His current research interests include cognitive radio networks, cooperative communications, relay networks, interference alignment, NOMA, and IRS. He received the Outstanding Reviewer Award of the Elsevier-AEU Journal in 2017 and the IEEE SIU Conference in 2023. He is an IEEE member, a member of the Information and Communications Research Group (ICRG) at Istanbul Technical University (ITU), and also a partner of the 6G Platform.
