The Working Men 1957 - 1972
There were many Working Men who came to the district and made a contribution to the Community through their participation in Sport or Community Activities. The list below is not exhaustive so I would appreciate details of others I have missed.
Norman Frederick Allen - From Clunes Victoria was a contractor for many farmers early on then later the Mailman.
Tom Walker - Newleigh later had his own farm up on Rockhole Rd. Married Jenne a Schoolteacher.
Bob Pearce - Worked with Gibsons and was a very good footballer.
John Hadley - Soothsay
David Aggiss - Worked with Bill Benson and later Soothsay. Married Jenny Jenkins.

Joe Riggs - Newleigh 1964-1973 then Manager of Munglinup Farmers and Torradup.
Reg Johnson and his wife Violet. Children Margaret, Gene and Caroline - Newleigh.
