We have put up a challenge online. You can read it here in full:
India is planning to send a mission to Mars slated for 2017 (tentatively). Among the several suggested missions for this Martian orbiter are:
1. Study of the upper atmosphere of Mars
2. Assess and understand water-rock interaction on the Martian surface
3. Study of the Martian Moon Phobos.
As a challenge, we suggested to members reading this website, if they could come up with an interesting piggyback satellite that flies with the Indian Martian orbiter which could be deployed into orbits around the Martian moons Phobos and Deimos.
Please send in suggestions to pradeep.mohandas@gmail.com. There are NO prizes or winners.
