Belcher Hut Location
The walk to the Lake Belcher Hut is on a varied track. Initially it can be quite wet over Wombat Moor then on a dry but uneven and at times rocky track down some 300 metres to the Humboldt River. From there to the hut is over a buttongrass plain that can be quite boggy and wet.
The total distance one way is 5.3 kilomtres and it takes about 2:30 to get there. The walk in commences from the Wombat Moor car park on the Lake Dobson Road.
