American Red Cross Blood Drive

Location: Snyder-Phillips (TV Pillar Room in Basement)
Details: Volunteers can either help with registration, canteen, or guide duties. Registration volunteers assist with checking donors in when they arrive at the drive. Canteen volunteers ensure that the water, juice, and snacks are fully stocked on the table for donors to use after donating. Guide volunteers help lead donors to the correct location within Snyder-Phillips Hall. If all of the canteen, registration, and guide slots are full, you can donate blood and send proof to msuprepa@gmail.com to earn points. ARC is giving out $10 Amazon or Dominos gift cards while supplies last. Sign up with the link below.

Spartython 2026

Details: Spartython is a student-run philanthropy event that raises both monetary support and awareness for the needs of children and young adults at the UM Health C.S. Mott Children's Hospital. It is a 10 hour event filled with dancing, entertainment, raffles, and fun, challenging participants to stay active and stand for the children who can't. Girls Math and Science Day 2026
Details: The MSU Graduate Women in Science are seeking volunteers for the 2026 Girls Math and Science Day held on Saturday, March 14th, 2026 from 12:30 to 4:30 in the STEM Building. The last day to sign up is Friday, January 30th and a completed background check is required. Conversations to Remember
Details: Conversations to Remember is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reducing loneliness among senior citizens, including those with dementia, by pairing teams of two or three college students with an older adult for weekly virtual video visits. Students volunteer one hour per week for at least 16 weeks, choose times that fit their schedules, and receive all required training before starting. The fully virtual format makes it convenient and accessible, and the experience helps students build strong communication skills with older adults. Additional volunteer options, such as social media, outreach, and call support are also available for those who want different or extra roles. Equiduct Tutoring
Details: Equiduct is a program run by MSU students, where volunteers tutor and mentor students in the Lansing community. They are currently in need of tutors- this is a great opportunity to get in some volunteering hours for your PA school applications! SCAMP Medical Aide
Details: SCAMP is a unique 5-week summer day program located in Clarkston, MI that is designed for children and adults with special needs, encompassing a range of emotional and physical diagnosis. As a medical aide, you'd ensure the health and wellbeing of Scamplers, Student Aides, Adult Aides, and Lead Teachers. Many participants have underlying health conditions that impact their lives, and are unable to properly recognize and maintain the conditions on their own.
