American Red Cross Blood Drive
Date: Wednesday, 10/15/2025
Time: 10:00 am-4:00 pm
Location: Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (1300 area, 640 S. Shaw Lane, East Lansing, MI 48824)
Details: Volunteers can either help with registration or canteen duties, both of which will earn you 5 points. Registration volunteers assist with checking donors in when they arrive. Canteen volunteers ensure that the water, juice, and snacks are fully stocked on the table for donors to use after donating. If all of the volunteer slots are full, you can donate blood and send proof to the Pre-PA Club email to earn points. Sign up with the link below:

Alternative Spartan Breaks
Attendance would count for 2 volunteer events (10 points), see ASB website linked below for more info.
Since 1991, Alternative Spartan Breaks has provided Spartans with quality service experiences around the country and the world. Modeled after the Citizenship Schools in the 1960's, Spartans are educated on a wide range of social issues as well as our 8 components before attending their experience. Through education and service it is our hope that our Breakers continue to give back to their communities and become community collaborators.

Equiduct Tutoring Volunteers
Details: Equiduct is a program run by MSU students, where volunteers tutor and mentor students in the Lansing community. They are currently in need of tutors; this is a great opportunity to get some volunteering hours in for your PA school applications! The flyer is attached in the email sent out on 9/29/2025. Membership Requirement: This opportunity is not affiliated with MSU Pre-PA Club and will not count towards your volunteering requirement for membership, but is a great thing to add to your resume and PA school application!
