Project Website Creation Guidelines
If you are using your personal computer, make sure you are connected to the ECE VPN before going to step two. VPN instructions can be found by going to https://intranet.ece.msstate.edu/ and logging in with your ECE username and password. If you are using an ECE computer connected via ethernet cable you will not need the VPN.
VPN set to Department not Student
Open windows file explorer and right click on “This PC”.
Select “Map Network Drive” from popup menu.
In the Map Network Drive window, in the Folder text box, type the following. \\design.ece.msstate.edu\design\2022\team_YOUR_TEAM_NAME.
Make sure the “Connect using different credentials” checkbox is checked and click Finish.
Use ecewin\netid for username and password (the one you use in ECE computer lab).
At this point it will map the drive to your computer and you can the access the folder and place your web files. To view the website goto https://design.ece.msstate.edu/2022/team_YOUR_TEAM_NAME
