Robots fight ALL THE TIME.
After my initial exposure to mechatronics, I was hooked! During my master's program, I had the oppurtunity to take ME218, a three-part mechatronics class. We design a new robotic system each quarter, an arcade game, a basketball robot, and RFID reading/hill conquering catamaran. You can see my work from the first quarter at our project report website. You can also check out our website from ME218B and ME218C. This sequence was uniquely challenging, and I would say the most important skill that I learned was debugging software, electronics, mechanical systems, and the integrated system. I also learned much about circuit design, low-level programming, state machine logic, and so much more!
