Football Games 2026 - 2027

• Friday October 9th, 2026 Ottawa Hills HS vs. Grand Rapids Christian HS at Houseman Field 

• Friday October 23rd, 2027 Union HS vs. East English Village HS at Houseman Field

          • Uniform in FULL MARCHING BAND with Black Shoes

          • Game Starts at 7 PM

Parades 2026 - 2027

• Pulaski Days Parade - Saturday October 3rd, 2026

  • Parade is on the West Side this year (by John Ball Zoo)

  • Meet in Band Room at 9:00 am

  • Parade begins at 11:00 am

  • Back to school by 12:30 pm

• GR Montessori Elementary Halloween Parade - Friday October 30th, 2026???

  • Details to be announced

• GR Veteran's Day Parade - Wednesday November 11th, 2026 (Times are tentative and may change)

  • Meet in the Band Room at 4:30 PM

  • Pararde Line Up at 5:30 PM

  • Parade Starts Moving at 6:00 PM

  • Back to school and dismissed by 7:00 PM 

• GR Santa Claus Parade - Saturday November ??, 2026 (Date is tentative)

• Wyoming Santa Claus Parade - Saturday December ??, 2026 (Times/Date are Tentative)

  • Be in Band Room at 8:30 AM

  • Parade Begins Moving at 10:00 AM

  • Back to Band Room by 12:00 PM 

Basketball Games 2026 - 2027

Concerts

• Winter Concert - Early December 2026

  • 5th/6 Grade Band; Middle School Band; High School Band

  • Performance at 6:0 PM

  • Be in the Band Room at 5:30 PM

  • MS and HS Bands - Uniform is CONCERT BLACK

• GRPS Band Festival

  • To be scheduled next school year

• MSBOA Band Festival - February/March 2027

  • This will take place during the school day for the Middle School Band.

  • The High School Band will leave during the school day and return after school. 

• Spring Concert - Early May 2027

  • 5th/6 Grade Band; Middle School Band; High School Band

  • Performance at 6:00 PM

  • Be in the Band Room at 5:30 PM

  • MS and HS Bands - Uniform is CONCERT BLACK

Grading - All Bands

As a reminder all performances are a vital part of your grade in Band. Failure to participate in a performance will result in No Credit for that performance. Please let Mr. Weber know in advance if there is a conflict or call ASAP if you are going to miss due to illness. Make Up work may be available, but is not guaranteed, if there is another performance that the student can do. For example, if you miss a required parade you may be able to join a parade with one of our other GRPS schools. Otherwise partial credit may be available.
