Class Descriptions

6^th grade

The student will: use an online learning system to receive, complete, and take quizzes to gain an online learning experience. Other areas which will be completed are quality passwords, personal information for online safety, and troubleshooting different components of a computer. They will take different computer components out of the computer. They will apply their knowledge in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel to complete different types of projects. They will review basic keyboarding skills with a goal 25 words per minute.

7^th

The student will: use an online learning system to receive, complete, and take quizzes to gain an online learning experience. Other areas which will be completed are quality passwords, personal information for online safety, social media and friends and troubleshooting different components of a computer. They will replace different types of components of a computer. They will learn to use an online storage and processing information by using Google Drive and its different components. Students will use their photo editing skills, to replace back grounds, selective colorization, and create a super hero in the program called Gimp. They will review basic keyboarding skills with a goal 30 words per minute.
