Rules and Routines

ART ROOM ROUTINES

HALL PASSES = Ask permission when you need to leave the room.

1. No passes the first or last 10 minutes of class

2. Must sign out and in each time or lose your privileges.

PENCIL POLICY=BRING ONE EVERYDAY!!!

If you forget:

1. Borrow from a friend

2. Borrow from me and lose 1 point from your daily lab points

STAY IN YOUR SEAT

1. When I am instructing

2. When you finish cleaning up. DO NOT LINE UP AT THE DOOR!

FOOD/DRINK POLICY

1. Water is okay. Must be in a container with a lid.

2. Snack safely and don't leave messes.

CELL PHONES/MUSIC

No talking or texting!! I WILL TAKE IT AWAY.
If we are using it for a project I will let you know. Ask me if you need it to find a picture, etc.
You may listen to your own music after I am finished instructing. Make sure you can still hear what is going on around you and that I can't hear your music.
School appropriate Music may be plugged into the speakers for all to enjoy or we listen to my favorite stations on Pandora or Amazon Music:)

CLEAN UP

1. Clean up after yourself everyday. Wipe off the table if you made a mess, clean out brushes, ect. (don't just throw in the sink.)

2. RESPECT yourself and other. Don't touch other people's artwork.

JOURNALS

1. Due Weekly. You may only work on them in class on Thursdays or in between projects. NOT DURING A PROJECT!!!!
