Married to my husband, Bob for 20 years. We have two girls, Isabelle and Julia.
I am the oldest of five kids: Kerry lives in Chicago and works as a Child Life Specialist at Adovate Children's hosiptal, Katrina is stationed in Idaho where she works for the Army, Kimberly is a teacher at Lewis & Clark Elementary, and my youngest sibling and only brother, Josh recently graduated with his Bachelor in Accounting, now working at Centene.
I went to Fort Zumwalt South High School, then to UMSL earned a B.S. in Business Administration and another B.S. in Management Information Systems. After earning those two degrees, I decided to get my Masters in Educational Technology from Mizzou. Then to become a teacher, I needed to earn my teaching certificate from Lindenwood University.
After graduating from high school, I worked at UPS. Worked there for seven years before I decided that I wanted to become a teacher. I worked as a Computer Resource Specialist at Parkway Central High School while earning my teaching certificate. After completing my coursework, I started teaching at Troy Buchanan High School in 2006, left after 6 years and now am starting my 17th year as a teacher at Fort Zumwalt South Middle School.
I stay very busy, rarely do I have free time. I coach the Boys and Girls Swim Team at the high school. I also coach Julia's soccer team. During the summer I also help coach a summer swim team. I love to run and workout, but also enjoy catching up on my tv. As a family, we enjoy traveling, we love warm weather and beaches, we've been to Florida many times. Recently, Bob and I went to Ireland, the country is so beautiful.
