Extra Credit may only be completed if ALL other assignments (homework, classwork, quizzes, and tests) have been turned in. Extra Credit is NOT a tool to "save" your grade. Extra Credit is a little "bump" to help you go from a C+ to a B-, or B+ to A-... NOT from D- to B+
1) Complete a "Marcy Cook Math" Activity (20 pages); attach the Tracking Sheet to your next Test.
2) Create a "Plotting Points" Activity; attach to your next Test
3) Research a mathematician, and write a report about that person: when and where did they live? what are they famous for? 250 word minimum.
4. Math Pennants! Go to "Forms and Docs" and choose the appropriate math pennants
(either Math 1 or Math 2). For each pennant, you will receive 1 point. Do as many as you like. Make them look nice!
***SuperBowl***- go to "Forms and Docs", and complete as much of the SuperBowl Packet as you can. 5 points per page!
***Pi Day*** Use a graph paper turned sideways. Write the digits of pi all the way along the bottom of the page. Color the appropriate number of squares for each digit (use black). For example- color 3 squares up from the number 3, color 1 square up from the number 1, etc. Then color everything above the black squares either blue or a nice blend of sunrise/sunset colors.
