8th Grade U.S. History

The primary goals of U.S. History are to create an environment where students choose to learn about the country they live in, to take responsibility for their citizenship, and to become good citizens. We will study how major events, people, leaders, and movements as well as diverse economic, political, religious, and other social systems influence us today and the effect they had on American history. Study skills will be emphasized to prepare students not only for high school and higher education, but for life as well.
