About Me

I currently live in China with my husband Shane who is the 2016 Maine History Teacher of the Year (yes I am pretty proud). We have a wonderful son Josh (who will be a sophomore in high school this year) and an adorable dog Krypto. I have been a teacher since 2005 and have taught kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and special education. In 2009 I earned my Master's Degree in Education from the University of New England. I am currently working on my Post Master's Certificate in Educational Leadership at UNE. When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going for walks, traveling, and watching my son play sports.
