Before each review class, you should do the following:
Read the chapter(s) and fill out your summary packet
Complete all end of chapter questions and check your answers in Appendix 3.
Work on additional honors questions (see the attached list.)
Be prepared to ask specific questions in class on that topic.
Be prepared to take a quiz on the assigned topic(s).
In class we will do the following:
Review the assigned topic(s) for ~10 minutes. Ask questions!
Take a quiz on the assigned topic(s) for 20 minutes
Go over the previous review quiz.
Start the next day’s topic(s) if it is a double period
Grades during review:
Quizzes will consist of some multiple-choice questions and some completion questions. They will be graded based on the number of questions on the quiz. Approximately 15 points.
If you are absent, you are expected to be prepared for the topic that is scheduled the day you return. No excuses. If you are in class on any given day you will be expected to take the quiz.
Completion of the summary packet will be worth 1 point each unit for a grade out of 16.
Practice Regents exams may be worth extra credit based on the grade received.
Additional Material: The following practice problem is for a topic that is not on the Regents exam, or in your review book. Additional topics are in your review book, but will not be reviewed in class. Be sure that you study these topics for the Honors Final and Regents Exam.

A chemist combined 15.0mL of 0.25M sodium hydroxide solution with 28.0mL of 0.10M lead(II) nitrate solution. Calculate the mass of the precipitate possible and identify both the limiting reactant and excess reactant.
