These are the appropriate steps you should take to gather and present your information:

1. Start by choosing an endangered species.
2. Once you know what endangered species you want to report about, begin reading the resource material presented in the resources section and any other informational site or book that gives accurate information on the endangered species you chose.
3. You will do research on pictures of the habitat and the animal, a description of the type of area where it lives, where it is found in the world, what things it needs to survive, and how it fits into the food web.
4. To make your article more interesting and detailed, you might want to research endangered species in general. You will find out the difference between endangered and threatened species, reasons why animals become endangered, and different organizations that are out their helping to prevent extinction on these species.
5. You will then organize all the information you collected and write an article for the newspaper.
