Welcome to my academic website.
I am currently Research Advisor in Monetary Analysis at the Bank of England. I've held a number of positions in the Bank-- in Monetary Analysis, Financial Stability, and International. Most recently, I led the Bank's Global Outlook forecast and before that I headed up the Macro-Modelling group in Monetary Analysis.
My research focuses on banking and household finance, primarily on the mortgage market, credit, and consumption behaviour. I have also worked on wealth distribution and generational inequality.
I have a PhD in Economics from University College London. I'm a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics and the Central Bank Research Association; and a research affiliate at UCL's Centre for Finance.
