Welcome to my academic website.

I head up Macroeconomic Modelling in Monetary Analysis, at the Bank of England . I've also worked in the Bank's Financial Stability, Advanced Analytics, and Research Hub arms. I've spent time as a Senior Policy Advisor at the Bank of Canada, and have worked in the UK Civil Service.

I'm interested in banking and household finance. My research is primarily focused on the mortgage market, credit, and consumption behaviour. I have also worked on wealth distribution and generational inequality.

I have a PhD in Economics from University College London. I'm a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics and the Central Bank Research Association; and a research affiliate at UCL's Centre for Finance.

You can find my Google Scholar page here, my IDEAS page here, and my Bank profile here.
