Welcome to my academic website.

I head up the Modelling Team in Monetary Analysis, at the Bank of England . I've also worked in the Bank's Financial Stability, Advanced Analytics, and Research Hub arms. I spent time as Senior Policy Advisor at the Bank of Canada, and have worked in UK central government.

I have a PhD in Economics from University College London, and an MA from McGill University. Before this, I worked as a Research Assistant at Yale University.

My research is primarily focused on household behaviour using applied microeconomic techniques. I am interested in understanding how people make decisions, and how government policy transmits throughout the macroeconomy.

I'm a member of the Centre for Macroeconomics and the Central Bank Research Association.
