To Start, watch the introduction video and then complete the 2 tasks listed below.
I hope you are doing well. We are going to start off taking it slow, however if you do not complete the tasks and assignments on the given day, you will find yourself falling behind which you do not want to do.
Send an email to: jrmcmanus@philasd.org that includes the following information:
Your first & last name
The AP class you are taking
The school you attend
What time you have class each day
What room you are in, or where you go during your class time
Your personal email and your school email address
**Make sure that the name that appears when you send an email is your actual name. You may need to go into your email account settings to change it to your name. If it is a nickname, as you submit work to me throughout the year, I will not know who it is coming from and therefore you will not receive credit.
THIS COUNTS AS A GRADE
Originally, in the video I stated that your second task for today would be to join a new Google Classroom that I will use for all of my AP World History classes that I have throughout the entire school district. HOWEVER, I have since removed this task for right now. If I need you to join a new Google Classroom, I will let you know.
Instead, what I want you to do is follow the link below, and read over the information that is provided that will explain a few other aspects of our correspondence class.
