Before starting the much-awaited on-boat workshop, here are some preparation for the workshop, off-boat lecture, and complete introduction of the participants, organizers, and resource persons.

Inaugural session starts with official information delivered by our local guide at around 10.30 am which means we are still on time but only 30 minutes (i.e., reduced our late time).

Then the combined information delivered by Prof. Chandan Ghosh, NIDM and Prof. A K Paul, Vidyasagar University, Medinipur

Lets have some glimpse of Jharkhali Island.

At the end of the visit to different places in Jharkhali Island (including "Bagher Bridhashram" or "Bagher Hospital"), we returned back to the boat for further on-boat lectures around 12.30 pm.

After some preparation on light, camera, it's time for next action.

At the end of the lecture, we have started our lunch around 3 pm with Bhat, Dal, Sabji, Macher Jhol, Salad, Chatni, Papor, Misti. Execuse me, if I missed some item/s. One thing to note here is that, salad must served after Dal, Bhat, Sabji.

Our next action (lecture) delivered by our guest speaker from industry.

After having many round of teas on the boat with on-boat lectures with many question answers, we are finally at the end of the day long activity.

Let's good night with my room partner after spending a lonely last night. See the struggle of a person when his width changes towards an upward direction (from belly to chest).

Next morning start with a beautiful sunrise which reflected in the river Malta.

Beside our Kaikhali lodge, here is a glimpse of Sri Ramkrishna Ashram

If you walk along the river towards the west side or visit the ashram, at the end of the ashram, you can see a building like this.

This is a future guest house organised and operated by Jadavpur University. Hope that day will come soon when one can stay just beside the river.

March-past started at 9.40 am to board on the lodge. See how disciplined we are from UG to PG to Scholar to Teachers. But the thing is we are 1 hr late and as per the widely accepted logic of being a Bengali, we are still on time.

Lets have a brief look of our vessel and preparation for the workshop.

Now, our first scheduled lecture started by Dr. R. K Datta, IMD (Retired) at around 11.20 am.

Lecture continues till our vessel reach to our next destination, Jharkhali at around 11.40 am.

At Jharlkahi, we had some field visit and discussion with local people and authorities.

Our next lecture starts around 1 pm by Prof. A K Paul, Vidyasagar University, Medinipur.

Lets have glimpse of the side effect of on-boat lunch while our second and last batch is having their lunch.

After having some rest post lunch, we again started our lecture series with some preparation on light and camera.

Although there was no such formal lecture delivered by our coordinator Dr. G. Bhandari, CDPM, JU, but he has given many informal lectures with many valuable information as and when required starting from bus, lodge, vessel everywhere. Here are glimpses of some of them.

Now we will have our dinner with repeat chicken roti or bhat with a minor change in sabji instead of Olcopi of last night, we will have bandhacopi tonight.
