Grading Policy

PE grades are determined by participation, skills tests, and written tests for the different units taught in class.

Participation points are earned 1 point for each day in class that a student is participating and demonstrating good citizenship, thus the name Parti/Citi for the week headings for the assignments in Illuminate. Should a medical situation arise that restricts a student's ability to participate either make-up time or a freeze on the grade may be administered. This would be a case by case basis.

When a student is absent, they are able to make up the points by running a lap for each day they are absent. This is explained on my web page under "Make up activity time."
