On this page we will explore Bluetooth control of the Arduino. This is short range "radio control" as used by the computer and entertainment industry to stream for example music or information from one device to another wirelessly (a bit like WIFI but with less features?). This Bluetooth control will allow us to turn our obstacle avoiding robot into a radio controlled robot!
THINGS TO DO:
- Watch the videos about Bluetooth (I recommend in the order they are placed on this page).
- Download the android app explored on this page (sorry no IOS on this page!).
- Download the required Arduino sketch.
- Explore, breadboard with the HC06 and have FUN!
This diagram shows you a set up for the HC06 that should
protect the input to the device from the TX pin 1 of the Arduino
max voltage of 5V.
