Raised in a godly home, I trusted Christ as my Savior at an early age in Sunday School class and was baptized shortly thereafter. I grew up in Community Bible Church and graduated from Bethel Christian School in Aliquippa, PA in 1984. Although called to preach as a young boy, I ran from God's call and pursued several different career routes. Eventually, God got a hold of my heart and I submitted to His will and went on to graduate from Heritage Baptist College in Orlando, Florida. After graduating college in 1992, I served as a youth director and taught in a Christian school. In 1996 I married my wife, Julie. Then in 1998 I began pastoring in Garrett, PA. Over the next 8 years, my wife and I had two children: Seth (2000) and Abby (2002). Then, in 2006 we were blessed to be a part of God's plan in starting Mountain Valley Bible Church in Berlin, PA. God has been faithful throughout the years and has blessed MVBC and our family.
