Background:

Check out my profile on the main Grauer webpage here.

I began teaching at The Grauer School in 2009.  I've taught mainly math, physics, and robotics.

I've had the chance to occasionally teach in other disciplines as well, such as computer science and philosophy. Before coming to The Grauer School I taught for one year at CSU San Marcos and I was a teaching assistant for numerous physics classes at UC San Diego.

What students can expect:

I aim to be provide students with an academic challenge, but support them throughout their journey with resources, encouragement, and attention. I ensure the students know what to expect, so that they have every chance to do as well as they wish.  I encourage students to actively reflect on their performance and evaluate themselves as learners.  I focus heavily on problem solving and critical thinking skills. I believe people should have a logical reason for everything they do.

Other interests:

Spending time with my kids, Benji and Kiko! Beyond that, any free time goes towards soccer, computer games, and most recently, AI artwork.
