I received my PhD in Statistics from Universidad de Valparaíso-Chile in 2018; a Masters in Economics from Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias Sociales in 2019; a Masters in Applied Mathematics from Universidad San Francisco de Quito-Ecuador in 2014; a Masters in Philosophy from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso-Chile, in 2018; a Masters in Financial Risk Management from University of La Rioja, in 2021; and Degree in Economics from Politécnica Nacional-Ecuador in 2011.

I currently work as Product Strategy Manager at Aval Buró. I am interested in real world applications, high performance computing, spatiotemporal statistics, machine learning, quantitative economy and philosophy. I have worked doing data analysis and econometric modeling of socioeconomic data, applications of multivariate statistics and business intelligence in the financial sector. In academics, I have been involved with small area estimation and unsupervised learning. I am currently part of a research team on topics related to spatiotemporal statistics, including the development of a package in R: GeoModels. I am also part of the scientific committee in the journal Cuestiones Económicas which belongs to the Central Bank of Ecuador.
