An Interview with History Using Primary Sources
Thinking as a historian requires access to authentic resources to build students’ knowledge. Creating lessons that have students engaging with Primary Sources to have them think as a historian is a great way to engage your students in the use of Primary Sources. The Library of Congress provides that access to historical Primary Sources. Images, maps, documents, music and lyrics ready for use that can put your students in the drivers' seats for their learning of Science and Social Studies topics. Learn about ways to locate, share, and engage your students through inquiry based projects that will invite collaboration and discussions while students interview the past with wonders and awe of our past to create and build their meaning of your content and our historical past.
