Professional Development Website-Jaeger and Moore PD
Within the "New Norm" summer has a new meaning for spirit renewal. I am looking forward to I am looking forward to a summer of learning and personalized professional development at all of my conferences. The best part of the summer is looking to networking and connecting with friends. I am so looking forward to seeing fellow Techie's that I haven't seen in at least a year. My first stop will be Brekenridge for InnEdCO and then ISTE in New Orleans. So I am moving forward to a "new normal" and learning and digging into remote learning with online classes I am looking forward to being a learning and designer of learning for my students as I prepare for the unknown of the 2022-2023 school year. The one thing I do know, is that I am looking forward to the challenge of teaching and for moving my CTE-STEM classes forward for my middle school students.
CTE-STEM is my focus for this summer's learning. I have 2 classes to successfully complete so that I can receive my Professional CTE-STEM license. I have added this license endorsement for 2 reasons, another professional challenge as I am a life-long learner that is always pursuing new topics to learn and share with students. Also, Career Readiness to meet my students learning needs for their futures. I believe Middle School is where students need opportunity to identify talents beyond writing the best paper or reading the most books. They need to have avenues that embrace the knowledge they have gained through their education, whether that education is in or outside of the classroom. This is where I believe CTE and STEM play a vital role in students learning to engage them in real-life learning and application of skills and to explore career pathways they may have not even thought about through STEM.
