MINNESOTA K-12 ONLINE LEARNING ALLIANCE (MNOLA) OFFERS OPPORTUNITY

MNOLA is an organization of Minnesota K-12 online learning providers who collaborate to provide the best online learning opportunities possible for their students. To meet this goal, MNOLA provides professional development opportunities and advocacy resources to its members, as well as conversations to promote highest quality digital instruction.

Legislative advocacy is an important aspect of this collaboration, and MNOLA provides advocacy resources to its members. (Member login is required to access documents.) It is important to maintain relationships with your state legislators, and you can find them here.

Online learning is rapidly growing in Minnesota. Students in every community and at every level from kindergarten through grade 12 have a wide variety of opportunities to learn online in Minnesota. Students can enroll full time or choose to take only a course or two online.

Online learning can meet a range of student needs: courses not otherwise available, flexible scheduling, credit recovery, enrichment, acceleration, special topics and personalized learning.

MNOLA (Minnesota K-12 Online Learning Alliance) Membership meetings usually occur on the 4th Monday of the month at 1:30 PM via the online classroom. Representatives of online programs approved by the Minnesota Department of Education as well as representatives of schools and school districts are also welcome to attend.
