Mystery of “Good Writing”

The traditional method of grading student writing with a plethora of handwritten corrections or online comments is a broken model. In this presentation, we will discuss a unique writing conference structure that will make the concept of “good writing” accessible to all students, putting them in the driver’s seat of their own learning!

Dr. Susan Decker serves as a Professor of English at Martin Luther College. Her research specialties include arts integration, young adult literature, Shakespeare studies, literary criticism, and English pedagogy.
