Infusing Music in the Elementary Classroom
The Lutheran Institute for Music Education is here to provide assistance in and ideas for various aspects of music education in the classroom. “Infusing Music in the Elementary Classroom” will give teachers an opportunity to expand their idea of what music education is - more than just a class held twice a week. There are so many other ways students can experience music on a daily basis. The research provides overwhelming positive evidence that engagement in music throughout the school day is beneficial for student learning and health. Our WELS schools have even more reasons to develop the musical natures of God’s children and bring respite, or even healing, to their days in the classroom.
