What's New in the World of Picturebooks and Chapter Books

Come explore new picturebooks and chapter books to share with your students (and enjoy yourself). We'll dive into recently published books, book anniversaries, and new books to be on the lookout for.

Jonathan Roux, professor of education at MLC since 2008, currently teaches Children’s Literature, Teaching Language Arts, and Teaching Reading in addition to graduate-level courses and workshops. In August of 2022, he received his Ph.D. in Literacy Education from the University of MN-Twin Cities. He serves on the Executive Board for the Southwest Minnesota Reading Council and is a member of the Minnesota Reading Council, and the Higher Education Literacy Partnership of Minnesota (H.E.L.P.).
