3-4 Mental Health Breakout
Resiliency is a concept that needs to be understood by both adults that work with children and children themselves. Often younger children will demonstrate externalizing behaviors when presented with negative triggers to trauma of any kind. Teachers will learn ways to promote resiliency for a younger age group through the challenges that we are currently facing.
Ashley Schoof
Dr. Ashley Schoof graduated from the Wisconsin School of Professional Psychology with an emphasis in children. She completed her doctoral internship at a local neurological rehab hospital. She provided care to children at a residential level. After graduation, Dr. School worked in various environment and with various ages across the lifespan. She started her work with a local small outpatient clinic providing outpatient psychotherapy for children and families. She now is the Clinical Director for Southeastern WI at Christian Family Solutions. Dr. Schoof spends the majority of her time with child and adolescent day treatment and school based counseling.
