Kelli Green
Kelli Green is a professor of special education at Martin Luther College. She teaches Educating the Exceptional Learner to all undergraduates and several of the undergraduate special education program courses. Her twenty years in education have impacted the perspective from which she teaches. Kelli’s education experience includes teaching in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod as an elementary teacher for half of these years and teaching special education in the public school system for the other half of these years. This has lead to Kelli gaining a wide variety of experiences that includes students from K-12 grade and students with learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder, other health disabilities, trauma, and diversity. Kelli is in Year 2 of doctoral work at the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, MN where she is working toward an Ed.D. in Leadership and Learning and Ed.S. in Administration of Special Education. The Lord has given Kelli a passion for serving educators as they serve these precious students and their families.
She serves on two educational boards: Christian Educators for Special Education (CESE) and Minnesota Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (MNCCBD).
