Although children haven't changed much throughout the years, the way they are parented has seen some changes. But parents really aren't that scary! Discover, as well as share, ideas to help educate, inform and make your early childhood program a place where parents feel welcomed and involved.

Presented by Laurie Peil - Laurie Peil is a teacher in Early Childhood with 30 years of Preschool teaching - the last 25 as Director and lead teacher at St. John's in Bay City, Michigan. She holds a B.A.A. in Child Development from Central Michigan University and enjoys "hitting the road" and sharing her experiences at workshops and conferences along with her husband, Kevin. Laurie is also the proud grandma of twin granddaughters. Laurie's philosophy is that working with children should always be fun!
