Google Docs, Sheets and Slides (gSuite) are an integral part of today's classroom. This session will go beyond using gSuite for typing papers and making presentations. You will learn how to use gSuite and other Google tools to design tasks that target higher-order cognitive skills (Bloom's). The goal is to transform learning experiences so they result in higher levels of achievement for students.
Michael Plocher, MS Ed. Technology, is a grades 7 and 8 STEM educator and the director of technology at St. Paul Lutheran School in New Ulm, MN. Some of Michael’s other ministry experiences include teaching middle grades and family ministry work at Eastside in Madison, WI, and upper grades and principal at Gethsemane in Oklahoma City. In addition to teaching at St. Paul’s Michael teaches as an adjunct instructor at Martin Luther College teaching the course Teaching with Technology.
