Engaging Student Curiosity (K-8)

Kids love to learn. They’re just not always interested in what our curricula say they should learn. How can teachers engage the natural curiosity of their students? How does technology make this more possible and important than ever? How can we build a framework that fosters the curiosity of out students? This sectional will address all these questions and more as we explore ways to foster student curiosity.

Presented by Benjamin Clemons - Benjamin Clemons has served as a principal and a classroom teacher at schools in Milwaukee, WI as well as a year in China teaching English at Hangzhou Normal University. He is currently serving at Martin Luther College as the Professor of Urban Educational Ministry, and as the Academic Dean of Education.
