Reading Around the World (K-8)

Join us to learn how to incorporate literature that reflects all nations into your classes. During this session we will discuss why this is especially important for students at a Christian school and what it could look like in your classroom. You will receive resources, practical methods, and techniques to make a wide variety of literature appealing and applicable to all of your students.

About the presenter - Karyn Clemons teaches Advanced Placement Literature and Composition along with Foundations of English at Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School. She graduated from MLC in 2003 and taught in Milwaukee, Wisconsin for five years before moving to China to teach composition and oral English at a university. After returning from China, Karyn taught first grade for one year and then started her family. She and her family moved to New Ulm, Minnesota in 2014.
