Changing Our Homework Mindset (All)

If students are to take ownership of their learning, they must be empowered make decisions about homework, and we must reinforce the mindset that struggle and persistence are part of learning. By removing the threat of homework grades, we make it safe to make mistakes and homework can be used as formative assessment. Learn how to use student self-assessment to differentiate homework tasks, provide feedback to the teacher, make explicit connections between homework and summative assessments, and monitor homework completion without grades.
