Play is a powerful and important part of preschool and child development. Outside the world of early childhood many do not understand why play is so important. This sectional will connect the work we see children doing in classroom learning centers with the MN Early Learning Standards. You will have a way to demonstrate to others how early learning standards connect to play. We will also look at Specific skills that are learned through play activities.
