Expertise Sharing and Collaboration Across The Minnesota District
This presentation will introduce the ECE networking system designed to connect Directors and Teachers across our Minnesota District. We will highlight the roles of individuals who have shared their expertise in specific focus areas and explore the collaborative opportunities this network offers. Attendees will receive access to the Distribution List, enabling them to connect directly with peers and specialists. Additionally, we’ll discuss the launch of circuit-based Zoom meetings, trainings, and other district-level initiatives designed to foster meaningful collaboration, shared learning, and collective growth.
MN Early Childhood District Coordinators, Jaimie Fischer and LaShawn Smith
My name is LaShawn Smith, and I serve as the Director of Early Childhood Education at Jesus Loves Me Learning Center in North Mankato, MN. I am also honored to serve the MN District as one of the Early Childhood District Coordinators. With a strong commitment to providing Christian, high-quality, and nurturing early learning experiences, I have dedicated my career to supporting young children, families, and educators. I’m honored to be here today to share insights on Collaboration and Networking, and I look forward to learning and growing alongside you.
Jamie Fischer has been teaching Pre-K4 at St. John’s Roots to Wings Learning Center in Lake City for the past 10 years. Since 2021, she has also served as the Director of the program. This past year, she was honored to be asked to serve alongside LaShawn as District Early Childhood Coordinator. Jamie feels deeply blessed to share the love of Jesus through the education and care of young children and their families. She looks forward to continuing to support early childhood programs across the district as we work together to nurture faith and learning in our youngest learners.
