Navigating Copyright in the Lutheran Classroom

Digital content and online resources are the lifeblood of many K-12 classrooms today. The use of all classroom resources, whether in print or digital, is governed by copyright. Do you know the copyright rules that apply to resources used in your classroom? This session will provide guidance in using classroom resources appropriately and legally, as well as provide you a toolkit to help encourage students to be respectful digital citizens as they use digital and online resources.

Adam Mateske serves as the Director of Technology and Integration for the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton School District in Janesville, MN. Prior to his current position, he served for 20+ years in various roles at several WELS schools. He graduated from MLC in 1998 and also received his masters degree from MLC in 2018.
